I've been really hitting the digi-scene.  I am loving it!  It's fun when I don't have the energy to sling paper or when I am traveling and want to get creative.  This one is for last week's The Paper Cut Challenge. 

I think my Mother in Law would agree with the ending of that layout :) I suck.

So what do we think?

I got a bug in my booty and re-designed theGalblog this past weekend and decided tonight to get mine going.  What do you think?  Also there is a give away on the GalBlog be sure to check it out!  I leave you with a layout............ :)

ughhhh!!

that's all I got! lol I have been on vacation for two weeks and I am ughhhh.  I went to Utah to hang with Jennifer at the American Crafts/QuicKuts Retailer Retreat.  It was SO fun!  Park City was amazing and beautiful (Pics here).  I am also looking forward to get one of these bad boys! It is awesome.  It cuts through Felt, Fabric, Chipboard among other thing.  We got some awesome dies and some new ones that are coming out are super exciting!

I came home to putz around and be on another weeks vaca with Bill.  It was our anniversary Wednesday so we headed up to NYC!  First time there for both of us.  How sad right?  It's like RIGHT HERE.  (Pics Here).  NYC has this very distinct smell about it.  I don't know if I could ever live there, but I sure love to visit!  We already have plans to go back.  One of my favorite pics of the day, 5th Ave.

I actually got some creative stuff done, but not much really.  I have no mojo with all the sleep I have been getting HA!  The new jack is up at ScrapJacked.blogspot.com.  Be sure to stop by and get ya entered for the bad ass kit from Pink Paislee!  Here is my jack!

I am a craftin fool!

Other then working it seems it has all I have been doing! So on the crafty front Kim Castillion aka Kimbo is our GDT for the month of October at ScrapGal!  We all love her and this could not be a more perfect month!  Be sure to stop by and check out this months contests.

On Tuesday I am off to Park City Utah with Jenn! She invited me to come to the American Crafts QuicKuts Retailer Retreat!  I am looking forward to hanging with Jenn again and seeing the new line Letterbox.  So exciting!

When I come home I am still on vacation for the following week to celebrate Bill and I's anniversary *aw*  We are going to be adding a new roof, home improvement projects and hopefully sneaking away to Bethany for a few days.

not enough blog posts in a day

So I wrote last time that I would be sharing the following project on theGalblog soonish.  Well that post has come and go!  I forgot it was the begining of the month.  Anyhow.  Since then I have made 3 of the following! 

Products Used:
Bo Bunny, Boo Crew Line, papers, rub-ons, jewels
K & CO spiders , they are out of stock now.  AC Moore has them
Ranger stickles: Silver, Black Pearls, distress Rock Candy
American Crafts thickers in Delight and Daydream
Wood Laser cut items from Michaels
Black paint
Modge Podge
Craft Knife
Sanding tools
Paint Brushes
Crop-a-dile
2 Jump Rings
ribbon

This is very simple to make! First you want to cover your piece of wood with modge podge, then apply your paper.  When dry cut around your shape.  Then sand the edges to make the paper smooth.  Apply another coat of modge podge to the top of your paper.  If intending to be used out doors, say on your front door, use 2 coats to be safe. Apply black paint to the edges of the wood to give it a finished look  Once you have done that it's time to start decorating! 

To decorate I simply used the rub-ons as a guide.  You can see in the top piece there are monsters and a fence.  Simply apply your rub-ons and outline or fill in what you want with Stickles!  I finshed it off with adding the jewels, googlie eyes and spiders as well. On the one below I used Colorbox Smooch to give the letters some depth.

When you are finished decorating your master piece, punch holes with you Crop-A-Dile to add the jump rings and ribbon.  Voila!  I want to see your projects!  Link them up to me or on Facebook girls!

ZING bam BOOM!

Have you tried the new American Crafts ZING powders yet? They are like buttah in a bottle! I picked up several of the new colors that just came in from CHA! Here I used Metallic finish Pewter on these grunge board wings. Stop by our forums to sign up for the monochromatic round robin! It was a tough challenge for sure!

I also used them on the left over Heidi Swapp ghost letters!
